After long time Parrot came up with this Consumer-oriented drone called Anafi, a folding drone that takes some shots at DJI’s Mavic Air. It’s not just the portability the Anafi sports a 21-megapixel camera that promises 4K HDR video, including 2.8X lossless zoom.
Parrot Anafi Specifications:
The Anafi features a Sony IMX230 sensor, Ambarella video processor, producing 4K HDR video, 21-megapixel camera on a 180-degree tilt gimbal. It records in 4K HDR at 30 fps or 1080p HDR at 60 fps. Within the company’s new app FreeFlight 6, photographers can choose between taking a 21- or 12-megapixel photo and can also adjust their video modes. The Anafi supports hyper-lapse, which will speed up the footage 240 times; slo-mo; and a high frame rate where users can choose to film up to 60 fps.
Anafi Drone Battery:
The drone is expected to last for 25 minutes on a single charge, although the battery can be swapped out. An extra battery costs about $99. The battery charges over USB-C and is compatible with fast charging. Still, it’ll take an hour and a half to reach full capacity.
All the controls and features are accessed through the drone’s new app: FreeFlight 6.
And since it’s 2018 following the trend, they got a new smartphone-based drone control app and an included physical controller with AI-based visual tracking, drone selfies, slow motion, hyperlapse, automatic landscape Cinematic videos.

Parrot Anafi only uses two-axis mechanical stabilization (software and a wide lens handle the third axis stabilization).
The most difference between the two drones is that the DJI Air Sports most important obstacle avoidance feature while the Parrot Anafi does not.
