Nasa’s Parker solar probe mission to the touch the sun is itself crazy thing to hear. Nasa launched their most ambitious project on Aug 12th from Kennedy space centre Florida.

The Parker Solar Probe will enter a stable orbit around the Huge nuclear fireball Aka Sun that gives us all life and Heat(Kidding) sample its radiation from less than 4 million miles away.

This is the first Mission Named after a Living researcher Eugene Parker.

About Eugene Parker:

He is the one who proposed a theory that stars give off energy. He is hugely influenced and studied many things about sun and stars.
This mission is all about making thesis to real practical.

The goal of Nasa’s parker solar probe:

NASA robotic spacecraft is planned to reach outer corona of the Sun and that’s the goal. This is the first man-made object that will be reaching so so close to the Sun.
It will approach sun as close as within 8.86 solar radii (6.2 million kilometres or 3.85 million miles) from the “surface” (photosphere) of the Sun and will travel, as fast as 700,000 km/h (430,000 mph) closest to Fireball aka sun.

Why Sun For Research:

Parker solar probe’s main mission is to study the structure and dynamics of the Sun’s coronal plasma and magnetic field,
The energy flow that heats the solar corona that in turn causes the solar wind, The mechanisms that accelerate and transport energetic particles. Ultimate Mission is how planets are created how the sun is responsible for Life on earth and many more Unearthed questions soon they will be answered.

How it will Survive the Heat of Sun:

Solar Probe is almost a car-sized carbon sandwich because it is covered by superheated carbon composite on the outside and a carbon foam.
The probe is designed to withstand temperatures outside the spacecraft of about 1,370 °C (2,500 °F). Because there is no water vapour gas to heat up Sun heat is dry heat So this the reason Parker covered with Carbon composite and a carbon foam.

The solar probe is Powered by AI:

Yes, Solar probe is Powered by AI because it is hard to reach the sun and to reach sun it will make 24 passes through the corona.
During this times it is hard to send communication’s with earth, So NASA implemented AI as it’s covered by sensors to Rectify anomalies.

“On October 3, Parker Solar Probe successfully completed its flyby of Venus at a distance of about 1,500 miles during the first Venus gravity assist of the mission,” NASA said in a statement late on Wednesday. “These gravity assists will help the spacecraft tighten its orbit closer and closer to the Sun over the course of the mission,” it added.

On 29 the October 2018, the spacecraft surpassed the current record of 26.55 million miles from the Sun’s surface at about 1:04 p.m. EDT making it the closest human-made satellite. The previous record was set in April 1976 by the Helios 2 spacecraft.

Ahead of its Google I/O developers conference 2018 this week, Google Completely changed and rebranded whole of its Google Research division to Google AI artificial intelligence this proves us that they believe in Artificial Intelligence and machine learning is the future and investing high on Artificial Intelligence research.  Shows just how serious Google is when it comes to AI, which encompasses technologies such as computer vision, deep learning, and speech recognition.

Announcing the news in a blog post, Google said it has been implementing machine learning into every research and products they are developing over the last few years.

Christian Howard, editor-in-chief of Google AI Communications:

“To better Prove this commitment, we’re unifying our efforts under ‘Google AI’, which encompasses all the state-of-the-art research happening across Google,” wrote Christian Howard, editor-in-chief of Google AI Communications.

Google also changed the homepage for Google AI so that it features published research on a variety of subject matters, stories of AI in action, and open source material and tools that others can use and develop further. The old Google Research site redirects to the new Google AI site.

Even Google has also renamed the Google Research Twitter and Google+ Social media channels to Google AI as part of the change.

This change was observed after a reshuffle last month that saw Jeff Dean appointed ahead of AI at Google. It also comes after Google co-founder Sergey Brin cautioned on AI development and issues it might cause in future.

Microsoft is making other manufacturers work easy by providing them Software, Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Services Support.

At Microsoft Build 2018 developer’s conference, Microsoft and Chinese drone manufacturer DJI announced a new partnership that aims to bring more of Microsoft’s machine learning technology to commercial drones which will disrupt the Industry. Microsoft’s current focus is making other manufacturers to use their Latest intelligence technology, so this might be a logical partnership although drones are essentially semi-autonomous  computing devices with features like ActiveTrack, TapFly, Obstacle Avoidance, Vision positioning etc.

DJI and Microsoft also plan to offer new commercial drone solutions using Microsoft’s Azure IoT Edge and related AI technologies for agriculture, Public safety and construction industries. Microsoft and DJI are already working together on Microsoft’s FarmBeats solution, an IOT and AI platform for farmers. DJI will make sure that Azure will be preferred cloud computing partner to analyze video data etc to Improve there products.


DJI president, Roger Luo said today during the announcement,

“We DJI the famous drone maker excited to bring the power of aerial platforms to the Microsoft developer ecosystem, Using our new SDK, Windows developers will soon be able to employ drones, AI and machine learning technologies to create intelligent flying robots that will save businesses time and money.”

DJI is about to launch a software development kit (SDK) for Windows that will allow Windows developers to build native apps to control DJI drones as a part of this partnership. Using the SDK, developers can also integrate third-party tools for managing payloads or accessing sensors and robotics components on their drones.

Yes, This new MIT’s headset reads the ‘words in your head’.  Voice computing which is taking new trends into everything and implemented by everyone.  It feels awkward when we try to speak with any AI voice computing device in public.

Same weirdo thing happened when Mobile Bluetooth came out to market. everyone who used to use them the other ones who don’t know they are using Bluetooth felt like why the F**k they are talking themselves.  So this is the reason we’ve been seeing the technology being used in the home, where people feel free to talk to their machines.

This AlterEgo is a nonverbal device that gets the job done in a similar way i.e Like other Voice AI machines, but without the talking. Check out the video tutorial of AlterEgo below.

AlterEgo is a jaw-mounted — device that’s capable of reading neuromuscular signals through built-in electrodes promises telepathy with Alexa. A team at MIT has been working on AlterEgo and that the hardware design should look more apt comfortable to use. The hardware, as MIT puts it, is capable of reading “words in your head.” crazy isn’t it.

MIT grad student Arnav Kapur said in the news that “The motivation for building AlterEgo was to build an intelligence-augmentation device(IA Device), Our main idea was that Could we have a computing platform that works more internal, that completely erases human and machine capabilities in turn some ways feels like an internal thing helping out humans”.

You heard it right Chinese police are now using facial recognition smart glasses powered by AI. You might have seen in many of the Hollywood movies robot’s scanning people for catching thieves.

But Chinese who are famous in developing new technologies are now caught up with facial recognition and artificial intelligence technology. Chinese Government is also supporting these manufacturers who are developing and researching on new technologies like AI & facial recognition. The Chinese government also made a decision that they should use the latest technology in countries security and military.

How Smart glasses work:

Chinese police on the outskirts of Beijing are now using smart facial recognition smart glasses powered by AI.smart glasses chinese policeIt is Interlinked with a database of videos recorded by CCTV cameras all over Beijing. Police Personnel have a mobile like a device which is connected to the Smart glasses with USB cable. In realtime it scans every Individual If anyone matches then It alerts making police work easy.

According to a report from The Wall Street Journal, Beijing-based LLVision Technology Co,  Built the sunglasses which are Introduced in Zhengzhou recently. LLVision company’s chief executive Wu Fei told to The Wall Street Journal that they worked with local City police did R&D to suit police needs and the problems they face.

Smart glasses Problem:

LLVision makers of smart glasses informed that they are able to recognize individuals from a pre-loaded database of 10,000 suspects in just 100 milliseconds amazing isn’t, but they also warned that government should safeguard the data from hackers and this might not work every time due to environmental challenges.

One of the challenges facial recognition software is that it struggles when running on CCTV cameras which are poor with video quality, and also because the picture is blurry, by the time it targets and tries to identify they might already gone.
