Why does a single drop of water confuse our TouchScreen?
why our touch scereen does not work when we operate with wet hands?
Touch screen technology is like magic but it is really working with capacitive technology.
When a finger touches the screen a tiny electrical charge is transferred to the finger and completes the circuit, this creates an electrical change at that point on the screen signaling the software to make the action happen such as like typing, and opening an app.
The problem is that water may also conduct electricity just like your finger.Water and electronics don’t mix.
Such as a drop of water, may provide another channel for the electricity. So touchscreen doesnot work when a single drop of water fall on your mobile.
